19 Jul 2018 - One Summer's Day

19 July, the most memorable day in my life. Six years ago, the birddom put us together on this summer's day.

This year, I had to work, so most of the time of today was spent inside wetland park, a place where we met. Today was a windy day, not too hot, but surprisingly quiet (even not a Japanese Tit!). Anyway, still a relaxing day without any targets, watching some common birds can be joyful even not a good shot taken.

a sunbathing Spotted Dove, so relaxed

and a family of Little Grebe, two adults and three chicks

who can see the wind?

highlight of today - a white-winged sparrow on the way back home

A nice Japanese dinner to end the night (Haven’t touched any sushi or alcohol after the trip...). When will be our second Yaeyama Trip?

Before we sleep, let's make a wish to the moon on the 6th Summer's Day.

Love,
Fai
