First TPK day in 2019 and also my 29th failure for the White-spectacled Warbler.... which was seen well today just 15 mins after we left and an hour before we arrived, in where we stayed and waited...

That’s the destiny maybe but I still wish my 30th trial could be a turning point. A wish, as always.

A Speckled Piculet was the most memorable bird of the day, perching well but my camera failed to focus, another time another destiny.

Before and after work, we went for a walk near Nam Sang Wai. Another causal walk, resulted (rather) some unexpected found of a tiring day: Eurasian Wryneck, 15 Grey-headed Lapwing, Red-flanked Bluetail etc. etc. The 2019 Big Year is now 102.
