Mount Davis 13 Nov 2021 - night walk

We are too boring and went Mount Davis to see any porcupine or palm civet, and none can be found but boar and Collared Scops Owl.

Shing Mun & Chai Wan 30 Jan 2021 - HK tick....

Finally got a non-lifer HK tick after several months, a Black-throated Bushtit, in Shing Mun. Nothing else very interesting there except a responsive Hume's Leaf Warbler.

Night Bird survey in backyard is much more exciting with 6 Collared Scops Owl and 9 other non-nightbird species.

Hume's Leaf Warbler - an interesting individual showing pale lower mandible

Hume's Leaf Warbler - cannot really tell the ID without the call

Hume's Leaf Warbler - the appearance is also similar to Yellow-browed Warbler, and showing a faint crown stripe

Hume's Leaf Warbler - very responsive to playback

Hume's Leaf Warbler

Hume's Leaf Warbler - another interesting feature... only 1.5 wing bars

Hume's Leaf Warbler - the supercilium is less contrasting (little bit !)

Hume's Leaf Warbler

Hume's Leaf Warbler - the tertials fringes rule out Two-barred Warbler complex, which the call can be similar
