Tai Mo Shan and Tai Lam 3 May 2020 - hot day with warbler

Boring day in Tai Mo Shan and Tai Lam, no grassbird, only some Brownish-flanked Bush Warbler, Russet Grasshopper Warbler and Vinous-throated Parrotbill.

In Tai Lam, the Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo was still responsive and allowed better shots.

Spot of Brownish-flanked Bush Warbler with my speaker - responding actively to my playback and showing very well, making Hong Kong Wildlife lovers couldn’t resist taking photos, who forgetting who they really are and what they really did before.

Multi Places 1 May 2020 - better Swinhoe's Egret

Multiple places again today, when the first stop is Tsing Tam for the adult Brown Fish Owl but no photo could be taken, typical luck. A immature female Chinese Sparrowhawk was seen but far, as usual.

Tai Sang Wai next, no larks, no special waders, no raptors, nothing at all.

Third stop was Pak Nai, even worse... Targeted for Kentish (White-faced) Plover but banana as expected. A pair of Little Ringed Plover is the only highlight here.

Mai Po was the final spot and best place of all. Finally I could take better record photo of Swinhoe's Egret. Several waders species were seen including lots of Lesser Sand Plover (but none photoable), Sanderling, Ruddy Turnstone, Grey-tailed Tattler, Great and Red Knot etc. Quite a lot of Asian Dowitcher as well. And also a single Nordmann's Greenshank.

Glossy Ibis was still there but lighting was extremely poor.
