Long Valley, San Tin, Ho Man Tin 24 Oct 2021 - one birding in a month

Likely my only birding this month, mainly to enjoy my big brother's new car...

Nothing to lose, and nothing to gain. Birdless everywhere. Still thinking should I buy the A7IV to replace my D850 before I can go any trip.

I was told there were three photoable snipe species in Long Valley but of course none when I was there, during a half day visit. Only escaped Yellow-crowned Bishop left, what a birding paradise!

The Canon R3 was announced but I can't see any reason to preorder if I can't travel right now, like I have no motivation to bird here even in day off.

So conclusion: bird less, drink more in this Covid decade 

remember the Tokyo-Miyakejima journey, 

woke up and got a beer, while ST/BF/Laysan Albatrosses circling around.

29 Aug 2021 - August is ending

August is ending, did not do any birding since last noddy twitch. Nothing lost. I guess I will keep this style for the coming birding season until the border opens.
