HK Wetland Park 27 Aug 2018 - Chestnut-winged Cuckoo

Tried the flycatchers today again but seems the migration never stop. Only the female Hainan Blue Flycatcher showed, though a brownish unID flycatcher was flushed low. And two Pale-legged Leaf Warbler confirmed by call (one was the same individual of yesterday), call as here, higher than 6k Hz https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/112478171.

female Hainan Blue Flycatcher, quite responsive to my call today, especially I wore a blue shirt, sadly out-focus again. (the extensive buffish underpart in dim light created a Hill/Chinese tone)

a better photo of Common Tailorbird finally

bath Scaly-breasted Munia

a first year Little Egret - feeding by foot stirring, caught a fish in a minute. Something wrong on its leg too, looks like a tumor?

Best bird of the day was Chestnut-winged Cuckoo, another first year bird probably was born nearby, unusually I didn't hear any in my patch last spring.

Chestnut-winged Cuckoo - scaly upperparts and short brownish crest are features of immature bird
