Mai Po 12 Mar 2019 - staff training

Today was our staff training for birding in Mai Po.. Nothing special were seen even someone reported a Hen Harrier, not sure a real one or not.

We saw the long staying Yellow-fronted Canary, a Eurasian Wryneck, also an injured Dunlin. And two singing Styan's Grasshopper Warbler!

Gulls are Black-headed, Saunder's, Heuglin's, Vega mongolicus.

The highlight of the day was bumping into Nigel Marven! Walking with dinosaurs, Prehistoric Park are some of my favorite documentaries! (well I am just 25 years old lol) It is my pleasure to find a Saunder's Gull for you in bad tide, hopefully you can get more decent shots of the bird! And welcome to Hong Kong~😊
