HK Park 7 May 2019 - more than a crake

A short visit to the park before work, especially I worked in Admiralty today, mainly for the Baillon's Crake. The crake was still there but not tame at all, difficult to photo.... So I spent more time with the Yellow-crested Cockatoo, a species made me wanna study animal (Bird) behavior, also a species which is critically hard to be found in native ground while HK is the easiest place in this world to see the free-flying population.

Baillon's Crake - my second time to see in HK Park

Baillon's Crake - too short winged, that's why not a Little Crake

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a smart player

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - well quite difficult to get a flight shot in bad light. When can we see a wild flying bird in native ground?

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a Critically Endangered species

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - there were many pair building nest hole

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - this one may be a big boss

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a hardworking one

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a fat one

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a slim one, really emotion depending...

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - this species love playing branches, leaves or fruits... not eating them sometimes

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a lovely pair

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - finally I can have a photo showing full crest of this Critically Endangered species

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a group, they are social species

Yellow-crested Cockatoo - a hardworking one and a lazy one, just watching the other digging but never give a ''bill'' at all
