Aberdeen Reservoir 2 Nov 2019 - another day

Just made a walk after works from 3pm as the traffic in HK island is totally chaos.

Aberdeen Reservoir is a place we have seen some good species like Marten’s Warbler, Chestnut-flanked White-eye or dipped species like White-spectacled Warbler (always). No luck today, not a single bird wave and so not much migrants can be seen or heard.

Species highlights were at least 112 roosting Black-crowned Night-heron, a Peregrine Falcon, Yellow-crested cockatoo, many Blue Whistling Thrush and Grey Wagtail. Little bit boring but much better than working.

For non-avian species, 2 Squirrels and 7 Wild Boars with babies were seen.
