We saw our first owl of 2020 - a Brown Wood Owl in the usual site, the wintering Hume’s Warbler, Hartert’s Leaf Warbler, an unknown yellowish warbler (poor view, probably sulphur-breasted or golden-spectacled complex), Japanese Robin (we saw a male while Jon saw another female), heard the Speckled Piculet, and the flycatcher highlights - the male Verditer Flycatcher, Rufous-gorgeted and Slaty-backed Flycatcher.
A new year starts and we should make our new year birding plan!
