HK Southern Water and Chai Wan 21 Mar 2020 - first boat trip this year and start of night bird survey

Not really right to call the boat trip as pelagic as we did not go far, not many interesting species but still some seabirds, include 3 Pomarine Skua, 3 Arctic Skua, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Common and Great Crested Tern and a flock of Streaked Shearwater (though not as a large flock as in Japan).

At night, started my first night bird survey near my home. Not a bad start with two true night bird species - Collared Scops Owl and Eurasian Woodcock.
