Long Valley, Shek Kong Catchment and Mai Po 8 Mar 2020 - where are the birds?

Three places a day, but did not produce many species, especially dipped the Common Shelduck which was a common species and we saw a few in the past.

Visiting Long Valley resulted two Brown-cheeked Rail, Greater Painted-Snipe and quite a lot of Little Bunting.

In Shek Kong Catchment, the Claudia's Leaf Warbler should be gone definitely, the highlight here is more than 30 Eurasian Siskin.

Mai Po was even worse, I did not turn on my camera at all. The Chinese Grey Shrike was still there, and also some raptors include Osprey, Greater Spotted Eagle, Eastern Marsh Harrier, Eastern Buzzard and Peregrine Falcon.

2020BigEar is 140.
