Mount Davis, Tai Po Kau and Nam Sang Wai 14 Dec 2019 - banana and curry

First spot we went this morning is Mount Davis, targeting the female White-throated Rock Thrush but expectedly dipped. Still we saw good number of thrushes in just a single tree include Grey-backed, Japanese and Eyebrowed Thrush. A Russet Bush Warbler and Two-barred Warbler also gave us some views but not really responsive.

In Tai Po Kau, we wished to see the Forest Wagtail only before lunch but dipped again. Not many birds were noted here. The most unexpected found was a female Plumbeous Water Redstart when Matthew gave me a free ride near his home.

The final stop after curry lunch is Nam Sang Wai, a long walk from Yuen Long resulted Common Kestrel, Taiga Flycatcher and nothing else, not even the Grey-headed Lapwing.
