Tuen Mun, King’s Park and Telford 2 Oct 2020 - 5th Jay dipping

We went for Eurasian Jay twitching and failed for the 5th time, cannot imagine we still need this non-lifer HK tick, one of the commonest Palearctic passerines.

Still, good numbers of migrants recorded but none photoable, like at least 28 Black-naped Oriole, 2 Himalayan Swiftlet and some raptor species.

In King’s Park, the male Siberian Blue Robin (likely a 2nd winter) was still there but very bad for photo even it’s fed.

Telford’s season started but only a uncooperative Pallas’s Grasshopper Warbler was seen today.
